Zoran Tijardović was born in 1966 in Varaždin and grew up in Split, where he finished school and graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. He has been living and working in Canada since 1995, and since 2000, he has been working in the USA as a designer. He completed a Master’s degree in Civil engineering at the University of Windsor, and is a registered engineer in Canada and the USA. He is the author of several professional works in engineering publications.
He is active in the work of the Croatian parish in Windsor, where he is a member of several church societies, and is also a member of the church choir. Along with his wife Višnja, who is the artistic director of the “Klapa Kartolina” and the first soprano, Zoran is the klapa’s tenor and manages all logistics and technical affairs for the klapa.
